Developers in Loyalsock Township, Pennsylvania, have submitted plans for a Take 5 Oil Change location, reports NorthcentralPa.
The site 1828 East Third Street was purchased by developers Famvest Partners, LLC. The company has opened other stores in the region including Texas Roadhouse, Chipotle, and last year purchased the area’s former Lycoming Mall, with plans to bring in retailers, restaurants, and housing as part of a residential mixed use purpose project called the District at Lycoming Valley.
Famvest has now set its sights on building a Take 5 Oil Change in place of a former animal hospital, which moved to another location. The building, which sat in front of a TGI Friday’s, has since been demolished as of a few weeks ago.
Plans for the new Take 5 have been submitted to the township, which will then be followed by a public hearing being held and the township supervisors voting on it during a meeting.
The next closest Take 5 store to Loyalsock Township would be around an hour away in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
