General Motors halts production at Factory Zero for EV production upgrades, EV raw material prices have soared through the pandemic, and Cadillac's new EV will be built in Michigan.
General Motors' Factory Zero in Detroit, which is the automaker's first facility dedicated to building EVs, will be temporarily shuttered for upgrades to expand production capacity.
The hope is that the vehicles can be sent to the Moon ahead of the next manned mission, and then made available for lease regarding government-led lunar exploration expeditions.
