March 18, 2021—Arrival, a U.K.-based electric vehicle startup, plans to build a second microfactory in the United States to manufacture electric vans. 

The automaker will create two different EV vans and according to TechCrunch, UPS committed to buying up to 10,000 of the vans from Arrival. 

Production on the new plant is expected to begin toward the end of 2022 in Charlotte, N.C.
