Tesla Committing to the Yoke?

Feb. 22, 2021—Tesla has released a video of its latest vehicle, the Model S Plaid, doing winter test drives and the battery is not what's gaining attention.
Many were expecting the new Model S to feature a butterfly steering wheel, which had already gained a lot of backlash. The butterfly steering wheel is rectangular in shape and requires the driver cross their arms to fully turn the vehicle.
"I fear it'll not just be awkward to use, it's potentially unsafe," wrote one reviewer from CNET.
But the latest video released by the automaker showed a traditional round steering wheel, leaving many to wonder.
