Feb. 19, 2021—Amazon is delivering packages in Los Angeles using fully electric vans.

The electric vans, designed and manufactured by Rivian, are being used as part of Amazon's 2040 climate pledge, reports Tech Crunch. Road tests for the EVs, which can drive 150 miles on a single charge, began four months ago.

Eventually, Amazon plans to deploy more than 100,000 electric delivery vans.
