Feb. 8, 2021—The Tennessee Valley Authority and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation recently announced that they will jointly develop a statewide network of EV fast charging stations.

According to Electrek, there will be an EV charging station every 50 miles along Tennessee's interstates and major highways.

When all is said and done, this will add around 50 new charging stations open to the public. The projected completion date is 2023-2024.
