Ford to Invest Billions Into EVs

Feb. 8, 2021—Ford has announced a $29 billion investment into electric and autonomous vehicles through 2025, a significant increase since its last announcement to invest $11.5 billion through 2022. 

According to Engadget, $7 billion will be allocated for autonomous vehicle technology and the remaining $22 billion will go to designing and manufacturing electric vehicles. 

Upcoming models include the electric F-150, E-transit commercial van, and luxury EVs added to the Lincoln brand.
