Dec. 29, 2020—BMW, a German luxury automaker, is aiming to sell one electric vehicle for every five internal combustion vehicles it sells.

According to AutoBlog, only 8 percent of BMW vehicles sold this year were electric, but the brand hopes to climb to 20 percent electric vehicle sales in 2021.

The top electric markets for BMW, according to BMW Blog, are Norway, Germany, and the United States.
