Dec. 21, 2020—The Air Force program dedicated to flying cars, "Agility Prime," will see its first major tests in early 2021.

The next phase of testing features an "air race" where the prototypes, made by Joby Aviation and BETA Technologies, will get more real-world testing.

According to FedScoop, the Air Force is working with Joby and BETA to get their vehicles a certain level of clearance needed to fly under Air Force contracts.
