Zoox Debuts Robotoaster

Dec. 16, 2020—This week, Zoox, an autonomous vehicle company owned by Amazon, debuted a robotaxi that has been in development for six years.
The vehicle, or toaster, according to Wired, can drive bidirectionally with a tight turning radius and can run up to 16 hours on a charge. The robotaxi will one day be used in cities like Las Vegas and San Francisco and has a top speed of 75 miles per hour.
Zoox has yet to announce when the vehicles will hit the road.
