Dec. 7, 2020—Chinese autonomous car technology firm, AutoX, deployed a fleet of 25 humanless vehicles in downtown Shenzhen.

According to Yahoo Finance, there are many "robotaxi" programs going on in China, but the deployment of AutoX is the first to do so without any crew members present in the vehicles.

AutoX's robotaxis are not available to the public yet, only private guests and employees, but the company has plans to expand to 10 more cities in the next six months.
