Former Tesla Employee To Pay Automaker

Dec. 3, 2020—A former employee of one of Tesla's factories will pay the automaker $400,000 after being accused of giving tips to reporters. 

Tesla accused Martin Tripp of stealing trade secrets and giving reporters updates on production delays, reports Automotive News.

Tripp, who was fired in June of 2018, will now pay the automaker almost half a million dollars.
