Land Rover To Create Irish Smart City

Nov. 19, 2020—Land Rover is collaborating with global software, mobility, and telecoms to create a "smart city hub" that will serve as a testing point for self-driving cars.
Companies like Cisco, Seagate, Renovo, Red Hat, Jaguar Land Rover, and more are collaborating to create the private testing facility, which will be known as "The Future Mobility Campus Ireland," reports CarBuzz.
The facility will be outfitted with sensors, location systems, connected roads, autonomous parking, and more to aid in the development of autonomous vehicles. The facility is projected to be complete by September 2021.
