Unlikely Partnership for Autonomous Semis

Oct. 29, 2020—Waymo has partnered with Daimler to bring its autonomous driving technology to Daimler's semi trucks. 

The two companies announced this week that they plan to develop a self-driving Freightliner Cascadia class 8 truck, reports Electrek

Daimler has also announced its working on an electric version of the semi truck, but the diesel will receive autonomous technology first.
