Canadian Repair Shop Recognized for Green Initiatives

Oct. 27, 2020—Cowichan Auto Repair of British Columbia is a finalist for the eco-friendly Black Tie Green Business award. 

Owned by Elly Ruge, Cowichan Auto Repair is dedicated to repairing cars with the least amount of harm to the environment. The shop features electric and hybrid loaner vehicles, hybrid battery repairs, and a carbon-neutral ranking, reports the Cowichan Valley Citizen.

“We’re humbled to be a finalist, and thought it would be a good opportunity to share some of the steps we’ve taken,” said Ruge. “We know that when it comes to being Green, there’s always more that you can do.”
