Oct. 21, 2020—After being phased out in 2010 by General Motors, the Hummer brand is being revived by GMC with the all-new Hummer EV Edition 1, which debuted yesterday.

The new electric vehicle has 800-volt DC fast charging capability, 1,000 horsepower, and a driving range of more than 350 miles on a full charge. The exterior of the vehicle features an infinity roof, power rear drop glass and a six-function MultiPro tailgate.

According to a press release, this will be GMC first full-electric vehicle powered by the automaker's Ultium battery system.

Production on the Hummer EV Edition 1 will begin in the fall of 2021 and hit the markets sometime after that with a $112,595 price tag.
