June 29, 2020—After having its debut postponed amid coronavirus, the Cadillac Lyriq will get its release on Aug. 6, reports The Verge.

The electric SUV will be built on G's modular platform, which is expected to be in a bunch of the company's electric vehicles, the story says.

The Lyriq will be Cadillac's first all-electric SUV. One feature expected is a side-to-side screen across the entire dash.

GM has plans for 20 electric nameplates by 2023, according to The Verge.
