Hyundai's Smart Mobility Ecosystem on Display

May 28, 2020—Hyundai is displaying a miniature model of its smart mobility ecosystem in its headquarters lobby until June 12, reported Green Car Congress. Then, it will be showcased at events around the world.
The smart mobility ecosystem includes urban air mobility (UAM) and purpose built vehicles (PBV). These vehicles travel around the city's mobility transit base or Hub, and become a part of the building when connected to the Hub's docking station.
To further its smart mobility solutions, Hyundai has added to its design organization team and enhanced collaboration between the UAM division, design center, and strategy and technology division, according to the report.
Hyundai's smart mobility ecosystem follows Toyota's announcement of the Woven City. The Woven City is part of a goal to do advanced research and learn the best opportunity for merging technologies and products with automotive at a community scale.
