You’re going to see that tagline quite a bit from us moving forward, and it’s not only meant to be a catchy marketing slogan. Those three, short sentences sum up what we hope you get out of ADAPT, and they are at the core of every fundamental reason for this brand launch. 

But let’s back up a moment here: Welcome to ADAPT

This is our newest brand at 10 Missions Media—a digital-first platform aimed to deliver content about the most progressive and pressing automotive technology trends disrupting the industry and how you, as a shop owner and operator, can better equip your business to grow and thrive in the years ahead. We’re especially proud and excited about this launch because of how it came about: It’s our goal to answer the call of our readership to provide them a larger understanding, presence and voice in the future of the industry. We feel an obligation to support the independent shop, and we feel that ADAPT can be a resource that gives you a fighting chance against the obstacles you’ll face moving forward. This is your industry. You’re the ones who get vehicle owners back on the road. It’s your business that will drive this industry forward—not the tech that automakers decide to throw in vehicles.

You can keep up, and you can succeed. You will.

And we want to help. You’ll see content in many different formats on this site, everything from feature articles and photo galleries to videos, podcasts and webinars. Our aim isn’t to throw products at you, but rather to offer you the information you need in the format that you need it. It’s an exciting, progressive approach to content creation that we can’t wait to roll out fully for you. 

That content approach will culminate annually in the ADAPT: Automotive Technology Summit, which is slated for Nashville, May 31 through June 2. The event will include presentations and discussions from the automotive industry’s foremost leaders in terms of advanced vehicle technology—OEM representatives, OEM suppliers, leaders of technology companies, and other industry leaders. The goal is to offer you a “spot at the table,” a forum where your voice can be heard and you can gather the information you need to push forward. 

We want to bring the automotive aftermarket together, both through the Summit and through the content here. That means all of you, from all segments of the repair and service industry—the readers of FenderBender, National Oil & Lube News, or Ratchet+Wrench. The industry is evolving at a rapid pace, and no doubt, there are many challenges ahead of you. But we’re all in this together. We’ll push to do our part in bringing you the information you need to make those adjustments, and you’ll do what you need to do to keep America moving. We’ll do it together. Let’s get started.
