Electrek reports that the classic Scout nameplate could soon be reborn as an electric SUV. Volkswagen owns the rights to the brand name.

Foxconn is a Taiwanese manufacturer that has produced electronics like smartphone and televisions. It has other vehicle contracts in the works with Indi EV, Monarch Tractors, and Fisker, according to Electrek.
