Nov. 10, 2022—Zoom has announced that its software will soon be available in Tesla vehicles, according to Not a Tesla App.

This announcement was made during Zoomtopia 2022, which is an annual event put on by the video conferencing software company. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has previously announced that the automaker's vehicles would be able to video conference. Reportedly, Tesla now appears to be developing a Zoom integration. It will become a component of Tesla Theater and will require Premium Connectivity. The vehicle will need to be parked in order to use the software.

Not a Tesla App reports that it sounds like the Zoom app will use the interior vehicle camera in order to function. Because of this, it is likely that the software could be limited to the Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X. During the keynote address at their event Zoom said it would be in all new Tesla vehicles soon, but an official release date has not yet been announced.
