Aug. 4, 2022—Tesla has partnered with national tech school Lincoln Tech to offer expanded EV training courses for upcoming technicians.

According to a report from Electrek, the three-year plan will provide students at Lincoln's Denver campus with access to an advanced EV training program at no cost to the students. Those who want to enroll in the program will first have to complete Lincoln's automotive technology course first.

"Students accepted into the 16-week program will receive an hourly stipend while they train. The Tesla training facility will occupy approximately 6,000 square feet of space in Lincoln Tech’s Denver campus," a news release said per the report. "Tesla will also provide vehicles, tools, equipment, charging stations and its own instructors to deliver the program. Upon completion of the program, graduates may be recruited for positions at Tesla service centers across North America."

Though the program will just start with the Denver campus, Lincoln Tech has 12 other campuses across the country where it would be able to expand the program.
