Cadillac Lyric Gets Price, Range Updates Ahead of '23 Deliveries

May 19, 2022—The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq, the company's first electric SUV, will boast a 300-mile range and a slightly higher price tag when it debuts next year.
General Motors will begin taking orders for both the rear- and all-wheel drive models later this week according to a report from the Detroit Free Press. The rear-wheel drive model will start at $62,990, a $3,000 bump from initial listings, while the all-wheel drive model will start at $64,990.
“These are important steps for Cadillac as we make good on our promise to deliver an EV offering more than 300 miles of range and move toward an all-electric portfolio by 2030,” Global Cadillac Vice President Rory Harvey said earlier this week.
The automaker currently has 250,000 "hand-raisers" who have expressed interest in purchasing the EV, though Harvey said "time will tell" how many of those actually turn into actual sales.
