New Vehicle Prices Remain at All-Time Highs

April 22, 2022—Though they've dropped for a third-straight month, new vehicle prices are still at an all-time high.
According to a report from Fox Business citing data from Kelley Blue Book, March was the 10th month in a row that had "over sticker" market prices. New vehicles from Kia, Honda and Mercedes averaged between 7.8 percent and 9.8 percent over MSRP. New Volvo, Buick and Lincoln vehicles were selling around 1 percent below MSRP for the month.
"With a myriad of supply chain issues disrupting global vehicle production, we expect inventory to remain tight through the rest of the year and prices to remain high," Cox Automotive Executive Analyst Michelle Krebs said per the report.
