Tesla Delivers Record 310K Vehicles in Q1

April 7, 2022—Tesla delivered a record 310,048 electric vehicles through the first quarter of 2022.
According to a report from CNBC, that total is up by more than 67 percent from the the same period last year. The Model 3 and Model Y accounted for 95 percent of those deliveries, totaling 295,324 vehicles sold.
The company produced 305,407 vehicles during the same time period, citing "“ongoing supply chain challenges and factory shutdowns” for the reduced production.
Per the report, deliveries are the closest approximation to sales numbers that Tesla reports.
Analysts predicted the company would deliver 317,000 vehicles in the first quarter, with a predicted floor of 278,000 to a predicted ceiling of 357,000.
