Jeep Releases Images of First All-Electric Model

March 4, 2022—Stellantis on Tuesday unveiled the first look at its new all-electric Jeep.
The company didn't provide details such as expected range or even what moniker the new Jeep would sport, but a news release from the automaker confirmed the vehicle would make its debut in early 2023. The company says more information will be released about the vehicle in the coming months.
" This new fully electric Jeep vehicle will be ... expanding the brand’s reach and taking the next step to the achievement of Jeep brand’s vision of Zero Emission Freedom," the release said.
Jeep's debut EV outing will be the latest move by Stellantis on its journey toward electrification and is a fulfillment of an earlier announcement to have an electric Jeep by 2023. The company is investing around $35.5 billion in electrification through 2025 and plans to have at least 40 percent of new U.S. vehicles sales be electric by 2030.
