Feb. 17, 2022—BMW and Electrify America earlier this month announced a partnership that will give BMW EV drivers free charging at Electrify stations.

According to a Kelley Blue Book report, customers who purchase a new BMW electric vehicle will get two years of 30-minute complimentary charging at any Electrify charger. The deal currently covers the iX xDrive50, i4 eDrive40 and the i4 M50, though officials from BMW say it will "extend to other models in the future" after the service launches in March.

Customers will have unlimited use of their free charging sessions, and the first 30 minutes of each session will be free. There is no cap on how often customers can charge.

Electrify is widely believed to have the second-largest charging network in the country behind Tesla, and the company is hoping to double the number of chargers it has available in the U.S. through 2025.
