Tesla Delays Cybertruck Production to 2023

Tesla announced over the weekend it would be delaying production of its futuristic Cybertruck to the first quarter of 2023.
Production was scheduled to begin later this year, but a report from The Detroit News citing Reuters and "a person familiar with the matter" says the company pushed back the timeline after deciding to change some of the truck's features.
Already leading the EV revolution on the sedan and coupe fronts, Tesla is now playing catch-up itself as electric pickups have become the trend for the auto industry. OEMs such as Ford, General Motors, Stellantis and Rivian have already introduced electric pickups to the commercial market or are scheduled to do so in the coming years.
