Oct. 22, 2021—After surging over the 100,000 reservations mark in August, the Ford Maverick has continued to drum up interest ahead of its anticipated shipping date.

According to a news release from Ford, the all-new hybrid-electric version of its new pickup is expected to be fully reserved sometime next month. Once reservations for the 2022 model close, they will remain so until the company is ready to start taking preorders for the 2023 model in the summer.

Reservations for the ICE model are still open, and that version is already on sale. Once reservations for the hybrid close, Ford expects to begin shipping vehicles to its customers sometime in December, with delivery then anticipated for January 2022.
