Sept. 28, 2021—Honda and Google last Thursday announced both companies have entered a partnership to integrate Google's suite of in-vehicle services into a brand-new 2022 vehicle.

According to a report from Automotive World, the two companies have collaborated since 2015 on different Android-based in-vehicle systems.

"By seamlessly connecting mobility and people’s daily lives through the collaboration between Honda’s connected technologies and Google’s advanced technologies, Honda will offer in-vehicle solutions that better suit the needs of customers," the report read.

The report doesn't specify which models will include the new user interface, but "future Honda models" will launch with it starting with the 2023 model year.
