Sept. 15, 2021—GMC will be officially unveiling its new Hummer EV later this month.

General Motors will be showcasing several new electric vehicles at Motor Bella starting Sept. 23, according to a report from the Detroit Free Press. The showing will be the first time the company has showed its new electric SUV, which is scheduled to come to market in 2023.

“For decades, GM and Chevrolet have served as industry leaders in automotive innovation, continually pushing the limits of what new technology and precision engineering can bring to the racetrack, showroom, and the aftermarket,” said Jim Campbell, GM vice president of Performance, Motorsports and Accessories.  “GM’s Motor Bella display is a testament to the dedication and resolve of our performance, motorsports and production teams.”

GM announced the new 2024 Hummer EV in April, and production is set to begin in Detroit in early 2023.
