Cadillac Unveils Final Gas-Powered V Models

Aug. 9, 2021—Cadillac's gas-powered models are going out with a bang as the company introduced its 2022 CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwings.
The smaller of the two, the CT4-V is an evolution of Cadillac's ATS-V and runs on a 472 horsepower twin turbo V6, according to Car and Driver. The sedan also features an option for either a 10-speed automatic transmission—capable of getting up to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds—or an ever-so-slightly slower six-speed manual.
"Even if plans change and somehow more gas-powered Cadillac Vs come after these, like any farewell tour, the CT4-V Blackwing is something you don't want to miss," Car and Driver said. "A special car that offers a special experience, we would love to see an encore, but we'd buy one now just in case this really is the end."
