GM Launches EV Fleet Charging Service

July 19, 2021—General Motors recently unveiled its Ultium Charge 360 service for electric vehicle fleet customers.
The new service will help GM Fleet, OnStar Business Solutions and BrightDrop customers "identify providers, tools and solutions to 'plan, finance, deploy and operate charging infrastructure,'" according to a report from Fox Business. The service also makes available more than 60,000 public charging locations.
"Fleet electrification is an important element of our growth strategy, and we will leverage our leadership and expertise in this space to support customers at home, at depots and in public with our suite of providers," GM U.S. Fleet Vice President Ed Peper said.
The launch comes on the heels of a $35 billion investment in EV and AV development through 2025 for the company with the ultimate goal of reaching 1 million global EV sales by 2025.
