July 7, 2021—Bentley Motors unveiled Tuesday its Flying Spur Hybrid model, the latest step on the company's path to total electrification.

The British luxury automaker said in a news release its latest hybrid is "the most environmentally friendly Bentley to date," emphasizing the company's quest to become carbon neutral by 2030.

The new hybrid sedan features a 2.9-liter V6 engine with "an advanced electric motor" and three EV driving modes — EV, Hybrid and Hold — that allow drivers to manage battery usage during a trip. The vehicle also incorporates connective car services and additional information on driver instruments when the car is in full EV mode.

Custom orders on the first models are expected to be delivered before the end of 2021.
