July 7, 2021—Audi announced earlier this week it is partnering with Mobileum to test and monitor its line of connected cars.

Mobileum, an analytics-based network services testing and monitoring service, will help Audi remotely test its internet-compatible vehicles' connections and "improve the connected car experience," according to a news release.

"By implementing Mobileum's Connected Car Testing solution, Audi ensures that its customers will experience the best online infotainment, safety, navigation, and communication capabilities while they are in the car," according to the release.

A report from CounterPoint shows around 75 percent of new vehicles will have some form of internet connectivity by 2025. Audi currently has more than 5 million connected cars in 74 countries.
