May 17, 2021—The Tesla Model 3 doesn't come with a dash display in front of the steering wheel. So modifiers are working out their own aftermarket options.

The Drive reports on some of these products, including more traditional, circular dash displays, as well as software on an tablet mounted to the dash. They require some installation and cable connections below, but the systems show speed, gear selection, and other information.

The Drive notes that Tesla could simply push an update to the vehicles to make these products non-functional, marking another skirmish in the Tesla-aftermarket battles.
