April 29, 2021—General Motors announced a program called Ultium Charge 360, which seeks to build out the company's electric vehicle charging ecosystem.

The system includes charging networks, mobile apps and "other products and services to simplify the overall charging experience for GM electric vehicle owners," according to a press release. The latter includes perks like free level 2 charging installation for people who purchase a Chevy Bolt under certain circumstances.

GM has partnered with multiple third-party charging infrastructure companies to built out a charging network.
