April 20, 2021—First responders said they found no evidence of anyone in the driver's seat at the scene of a deadly Tesla crash near Houston on April 16.

Click 2 Houston reports that there was one person in the passenger seat and another in the back seat when the 2019 Tesla crashed and burst into flames. Both occupants died. The vehicle was traveling fast and failed to turn at a cul-de-sac before hitting a tree, the story says.

Elon Musk tweeted on Monday that company records indicated the car owner hadn't enabled the Autopilot feature (which is not fully automated driving) and that the owner hadn't purchased the “Full Self-Driving” feature, reports The Verge.
