'Blue Cruise' Hands-Free Driving Coming in 2021

April 14, 2021—Blue Cruise, which is Ford's hands-free driving system, will debut in the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 later this year, Autoblog reports.
This upgrade to the current Co-Pilot 360 ADAS functions will operate in so-called "blue zones," where Ford has validated for hands-free driving. There are 100,000 miles of roadway in these zones in North America, the story says.
Blue Cruise is technically a SAE Level 2 system. It will prompt for human input if the driver's gaze wanders or if the vehicle leaves the blue zone.
