April 6, 2021—Electric truck startup Rivian released its service package, which is an attempt to rival brands like Tesla in meeting customers on the road and utilizing a proprietary shop network.

Yahoo Finance reports that Rivian is promising a remote diagnostic service to spot problems, and the company will send a van to fix what can be done on site.

There are some 40 service centers for other repair work, as well as a collision repair network of Rivian-owned shops and certified locations, the story says. Rivian's warranty runs for 175,000 miles for the battery and 50,000 miles for the drivetrain.
