Ford Grows EV Sales

April 6, 2021—Ford reported strong quarterly sales to start 2021, including record sales of electric vehicles.

The company said that sales of the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid are the biggest drivers of EV sales growth. That includes 6,614 Mach-E models and 7,176 of the F-150 hybrids.

Overall sales is off to the best start since 2001, Ford said in an earnings report. Retail truck and SUVs were up 87,883 over a year ago, according to the press release.
